 EVERY 90 SECONDS
 |
|
Every 90 seconds someone in the United States is the victim of sexual assault and 44% of those victims are boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18. This sobering information led the Victim Service Center and Michelee Puppets to collaborate in the development of an informative play, "Every 90 Seconds". This live theatrical presentation by the actors of Michelee Puppets addresses issues of dating violence, acquaintance rape, and sexual abuse in a factual and honest way.
Helping students understand healthy relationship behavior, power and control dynamics, personal boundaries and assertively saying no is the focus of the play. |
Thanks to funding from the Women's Resource Center, in 2008 twenty-four presentations of Every 90 Seconds are available free to Orange County High Schools.
If you represent a school in Orange County please contact Amy Schwartz at Michelee Puppets (407-898-7925) for scheduling information. |
